The Manager Enterprise Risk will report to the Director Risk Intelligence and Analytics in Global Risk Intelligence and Technology (GRIT) supporting the Global Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function and consequently will have a dual reporting line to the Global ERM function. This manager plays a dynamic role in leading and/or supporting numerous initiatives and processes which will enable senior leaders of the Company to make informed risk-adjusted decisions. This role offers valuable opportunities in contributing to the enhancement of the Companys ERM Framework.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead the overall coordination and delivery of enterprise-wide risk reports on behalf of the Chief Risk Officer (CRO). These reports are produced at varied frequencies tailored for internal audiences including the Executive and Board Risk Committees. Each report provides nuanced perspectives on the ERM Framework the Companys risk profile and the ongoing programs and initiatives which seek to enhance them.
Prepare presentations and information / disclosure packages for external audiences such as investors regulators and rating agencies.
Act as a central liaison with Global Risk Management (GRM) teams involved in reporting activities.
Maintain a comprehensive reporting calendar and workback schedules for ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
Support the development and periodic review of risk management policies standards and methodologies.
Identify and implement opportunities to streamline current risk reporting processes while enhancing controls and quality assurance.
Collaborate across GRM to drive improvements that delivers value and efficiency (e.g. identify develop and implement win-win enhancements to current practices)
Lead the coordination on behalf of the CRO or ERM team for various departmental operations such as compliance reporting business continuity management records management issues tracking and oversee Risk initiatives against company-wide standards.
Provide support across ERMs key programs including objective assessment standards operating models development of risk registers etc.
Coordinate and support requests for information during internal or external assessments of GRM or ERM (e.g. regulatory examinations internal audits external self-assessments) and oversee the implementation of corrective action plans identified from findings and recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
5-8 years of progressive work experience in consulting financial services technology risk management or other multinational companies.
Broad knowledge of financial services/insurance business and functions.
Excellent attention to detail ability to execute with high precision track and manage a high volume of stakeholder needs navigate competing priorities strong time management and organization skills.
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills ability to negotiate and influence show tact and diplomacy ability to actively listen and show empathy.
Strong communication skills ability to interpret distill and communicate complex information to generate insights and storylines in a concise and action-oriented manner.
