Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Otolaryngology in Lakewood CO

Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Otolaryngologist to join our ENT team at a leading hospital in Lakewood Colorado. The position is for locum support beginning as soon as December 15th 2025. This facility is known for its high-quality patient care and commitment to innovative medical practices in a collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide standard ENT coverage in an inpatient setting.
Manage 24-hour call shifts (7a-7a) with an emphasis on trauma care.
Utilize EMR: EPIC for patient documentation and care coordination.
Participate in rotation for weekends and additional call as needed.
Collaborate with medical staff and adhere to hospital protocols and procedures.
Complete required EMR training prior to the first day of work.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (REQUIRED).
Active Colorado Medical License or IMLC (LOQ required at the time of submission) (REQUIRED).
Current BLS certification (REQUIRED).
Active Colorado DEA (HIGHLY PREFERRED).
Availability for all specified dates including weekends and potential ongoing shifts (REQUIRED).
Communication of monthly shift availability to the team (REQUIRED).
Clean malpractice and background check (REQUIRED).

License and Certification Requirements:

Board Certification in Otolaryngology (REQUIRED).
Active Colorado Medical License or IMLC (REQUIRED).
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (REQUIRED).
Active DEA license in Colorado (HIGHLY PREFERRED).
