About The Opportunity

Programmed Group Services is seeking an Administration Assistant to join our dedicated Workers Compensation team based at our Collins Square office in Melbourne.

This full-time role is integral to supporting our Workers Compensation Operations Manager and Injury Management Advisors. Youll coordinate the exchange of data and documentation between stakeholders maintain injury and claim records in our systems and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.

Attention to detail strong organisational skills and a customer-focused mindset are key as you facilitate processes that help injured employees return to work safely and efficiently while also managing the administrative functions that keep our injury management operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate online lodgment of workers compensation claims in line with legislative requirements.
  • Maintain accurate injury and claim records within Programmeds database.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure compliance with medical certificates and claims processes.
  • Compile injury and claims data reports and assist with audits.
  • Support Injury Management Advisors with booking appointments arranging transport and processing reimbursements.
  • Facilitate payment of insurer invoices and medical accounts.

About You

To succeed in this role youll bring:

  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in claims management or workers compensation processes (highly regarded).
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and insurer systems (desirable).
  • Experience working within the construction manufacturing or transport industries (desirable)
