Your function:
Manage and executing external audits in the Commercial Finance portfolio with respect to administration operational processes risk management and internal control to identify and report on operational process improvements in order to manage and minimize risk costs and exposure. Monitor compliance and provide risk insight into Dealer/Vendor business operations. Manage a portfolio of Dealers/Vendors to ensure payment of POS (Pays as Sold) along with regular curtailment and interest payments are met in accordance with terms.

Day to day:
- Ensure the frequency of Commercial Finance Audits are completed in accordance with policy.
- Apply sound risk analysis and DLL policies with assessment of findings from audits to determine appropriate follow up action where required.
- Liaise with internal Sales Vendors Dealers Customers and other third parties to gather sufficient information to make an informed assessment when completing reviews and audits.
- Make decisions within delegated authority and refer any risk incidents identified to the appropriate management level.
- Analyse and manage unexpected problems that have financial consequences with a high sense of urgency.
- Co-develop and implement work processes procedures techniques and/or systems to improve efficiencies.

Your profile:
- Risk Analysis experience within DLLs industry niches (Food & Agriculture; Materials Handling; Construction; Transport & Recreational Products).
- Understand the differences between customer types and be able to apply that knowledge accordingly to effectively assess both operational risk and credit risk and make recommendations accordingly.
- Prior experience with stock auditing is an advantage but not essential.
- Strong ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think on ones feet and respond to immediate issues in a professional manner.
- Ability to organize work to assist the Risk Team in meeting daily weekly and annual objectives.
- Must have a good fit with the Risk Team and other internal stakeholders and be prepared to work in a high volume environment under pressure to tight time constraints.
- Ability to respond or acquire knowledge to respond to internal and external customer requests promptly and correctly.
- Confident professional and effective communication skills. Working with Vendors Dealers and customers representing DLL in a highly professional manner displaying behaviors consistent with DLLs Core Values.
- Together with external stakeholders the role includes substantial collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Salespeople Credit Analysts Collectors and Operations.
- Consultative approach to working with all stakeholders team player.
- Strong ability to share business and risk knowledge with other DLL members in order to build a culture of risk management balanced with commercial objectives.
- High level risk analysis skills are essential.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Sound understanding of the equipment finance legal framework including the purpose of equipment finance / contractual documentation an understanding of basic contractual terms and conditions securities requirements and other legal and regulatory requirements.
- Understanding of Vendor-based and Dealer-based finance partnerships including both strategic commercial objectives and risk management principles.
- A High level of reporting experience with Excel and/or Power BI skills preferable.
- Degree or studies in accounting finance commerce or related field may have completed or still studying on a part time basis.
- 3 years experience working in a Commercial Finance Collections Audit Management and Credit or similar environment is essential.
- Vendor / Dealer Commercial Finance experience is preferable.
- Commercial Finance / Floor Plan product experience is preferable.
- Essential to the role so a demonstrated ability to prioritise and perform multiple tasks on an interrupted basis is important.
