About the role
Leading independent girls school Camberwell Girls Grammar School presents an opportunity for a Secondary School Administrator to support our Student Services area. The role is a permanent full-time position working either 7.30am-4.00pm or 8.00am-4.30pm.

This position is worked over 43.18 weeks per annum (term time plus 4 additional weeks generally spread out 1 x week per term holiday break across the year).

This role provides highquality proactive and responsive administrative support to the Secondary School office and Student Services.

You will make an impact by:

  • Supporting the reception and administration tasks for Student Services
  • Acting as a key point of contact for Secondary School students staff and parents
  • Answering incoming calls and emails responding to inquiries and directing calls as necessary
  • Maintaining and updating student records attendance records and creating reports
  • Providing administrative support to various departments within the school as required including proofreading and editing documents
  • Providing first aid support to students and the Health Centre Nurses
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion

To be successful in this role
You are a customer service professional with excellent administration skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly and professional in your approach you build effective working relationships with ease. You are organised detail focused team oriented and take pride in producing work that is of a high calibre.

You will have:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administration role is essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role or in a School is desirable
  • First Aid qualification (Level 2) CPR qualification and Anaphylaxis Awareness qualification or willingness to obtain these
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current Criminal Record Check
