Job Summary

Position Title: CVOR RN Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse
Location: Sanford FL
Job Type: Permanent Full Time

Shift: Days Rotating Weekends
Call Requirement: Yes 1015 on-call shifts/month Must be within 30 mins of facility

Salary Range: $34.85/hr $49.06/hr
On-Call Pay: $4.00/hr 1.5x base rate if called in
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10000
Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a CVOR RN to provide perioperative care for cardiac surgical patients in a Level II Trauma Center with a full-service cardiovascular program. The RN will assist with open-heart and interventional cardiac procedures ensuring safe efficient workflow while collaborating with surgeons anesthesia and OR teams.

Key Responsibilities

Provide intraoperative nursing care for CVOR open-heart and cardiac procedures
Perform patient preparation including IV access medications and site verification
Monitor patient status and respond to emergent situations
Participate in briefing time-out and debriefing
Document patient status interventions and outcomes
Support family education
Collaborate with surgeons anesthesia and surgical teams
Float to Main OR on non-CVOR days
Maintain safety and quality standards

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years recent CVOR RN experience Required
Active Florida RN license or Compact (Compact holders must obtain FL license within 60 days)
Education: ADN or Diploma in Nursing (BSN preferred)
Certifications:
- BLS Required within 30 days
- ACLS Required within 6 months
- PALS or ENPC Required within 6 months
