Job Summary
Job Title: Administrative Clerk
Location: Phoenix AZ 85003
Duration: 6 Months
Travel Requirement: Must use personal vehicle for travel between multiple sites (Phoenix Glendale Goodyear Mesa). Mileage reimbursement provided.
Position Summary
The Administrative Clerk provides essential administrative and operational support to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of clinical and medical office operations. This role works closely with providers nurses and management teams to coordinate workflows manage documentation support scheduling functions and uphold healthcare compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-level administrative support to clinical and medical office staff.
Assist with scheduling documentation management and general office coordination.
Support providers and nurses by maintaining organized workflows and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Handle patient-related administrative processes in compliance with internal policies and healthcare regulations.
Utilize EHR/EMR systems for data entry updates and record management (experience with eCW is a plus).
Maintain confidentiality professionalism and accuracy in all tasks.
Adapt quickly to new systems and step in to assist where needed.
Education Requirements
Associates or Bachelors degree in Business Administration Healthcare Administration or a related field.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 2 years of administrative experience preferably in a healthcare or medical office environment.
Familiarity with medical terminology healthcare compliance and EHR/EMR systems.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Ability to travel between sites and manage work in a fast-paced environment.
