Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Finance Associate to join our Corporate Services team. This is a role within a fast-growing startup environment backed by a solid foundation and ambitious long-term plans. You will work across both client accounts and internal group companies gaining exposure to a wide variety of financial operational and corporate tasks.
Because we operate with the pace energy and agility of a startup this role requires someone with a positive hands-on can-do attitudesomeone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves adapting quickly and contributing proactively to the growth of the business.
The ideal candidate has a finance or accounting degree or is partly ACCA qualified though we also welcome candidates with relevant experience who are committed to pursuing their professional qualifications. This role also includes opportunities to represent the brand externally engage on social platforms and identify new business opportunities when they arise.

Responsibilities:
As a Corporate Finance Associate your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Carry out day-to-day accounting for client companies and group entities.
Prepare journal entries reconciliations month-end processes and supporting schedules.
Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial reporting packs.
Handle invoicing AP/AR cycles payment runs and cash flow monitoring.
Support audit processes tax submissions and regulatory compliance.
Maintain accurate and organised financial records.
Process monthly payroll for assigned clients and/or group entities.
Manage statutory payroll submissions (FS5 FS7 etc.).
Update employee payroll records benefits and adjustments.
Support delivery of won tenders by managing relevant financial and corporate obligations.
Assist with maintaining corporate files registers and statutory documentation.
Liaise with auditors banks regulatory bodies and external service providers.
Support the Corporate Services Manager on group-wide finance tasks and internal projects.
Attend external events business functions and networking opportunities as a representative of the company.
Engage professionally on social media platforms to support brand visibility (e.g. sharing updates attending industry discussions promoting company achievements when appropriate).
Identify and bring in new business leads when opportunities arise acting as an ambassador for the firm.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients partners and external stakeholders.
Assist with basic company secretarial matters including MBR filings and register updates.
Contribute to onboarding new clients from a corporate finance perspective.
Requirements:
A degree in Accounting Finance or a related field OR
Partly ACCA-qualified (or equivalent) OR
Meaningful finance/accounting experience with a commitment to pursuing qualifications.
14 years experience in accounting corporate services or related roles.
Experience preparing payroll.
Strong analytical organisational and multitasking capabilities.
Good communication skills and confidence in client-facing scenarios.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
Nice to Have
Experience with MBR filings or company secretarial paperwork.
Tender-related experience.
Prior work in a consultancy accounting practice or corporate services environment.
Familiarity with social media posting in a professional context.
