We are recruiting a Year 2 Teacher for a popular Bedford primary. The Year 2 Teacher will plan and deliver a sequenced curriculum that secures reading writing and mathematics outcomes lead phonics and guided-reading sessions and design targeted interventions to meet identified needs. The Year 2 Teacher will create differentiated daily lessons deliver high-quality phonics teaching run small-group tuition and maintain accurate assessment records. The Year 2 Teacher will support transition into KS2 and liaise with parents to share progress and next steps. Working in Bedford the Year 2 Teacher will benefit from collaborative planning time structured CPD and a strong support network.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver sequenced Year 2 lessons with clear progression and purposeful differentiation.
- Lead phonics guided-reading and targeted maths sessions to secure Year 2 outcomes.
