Job Summary
A welcoming and academically ambitious secondary school in Leicestershire is seeking a dedicated Teacher of French to join its Modern Foreign Languages department from January 2026.
Languages are an important part of the schools curriculum and French is taught across KS3 and KS4 with opportunities to contribute to A-Level teaching depending on experience. The department has a supportive culture and places strong emphasis on confidence-building and cultural understanding.
The Role
You will teach French across KS3KS4 delivering lessons that develop students speaking listening reading and writing skills. Schemes of work are clearly structured and well resourced supporting consistency while allowing teachers to bring creativity to their lessons.
You will:
Deliver engaging communicative language lessons
Support GCSE students with exam preparation
Contribute to enrichment such as language clubs or cultural events
Work collaboratively within a supportive MFL team
