Job Summary
A welcoming and well-led secondary school in Derbyshire is looking to appoint an Early Career Teacher of History to join its established Humanities department from January 2026.

The Role
You will teach History across KS3 and KS4 delivering lessons that develop historical knowledge enquiry skills and extended writing. Schemes of work are detailed and well resourced allowing you to focus on developing confident delivery and effective questioning.
You will:
Teach within a supportive collaborative department
Develop strong routines for behaviour and retrieval practice
Receive regular feedback and coaching
Gradually build confidence in assessment and exam preparation
