Senior SREPlatform Engineer AWS PermContract (Initial 6-Month Opportunity)

We are happy to consider both Perm and Contractors.

We are seeking a talented Senior SRE/Platform Engineer to join our team in Brisbane this role you will be responsible for designing building and maintaining highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.

• Provision and manage AWS resources using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines and configuration management tools
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications
• Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for cloud infrastructure
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents as required

Qualifications :

• Strong experience with AWS services and infrastructure
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python Go or Java
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus Grafana and ELK stack
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and microservices (preferred)
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (preferred)
• Familiarity with chaos engineering and resilience testing (preferred)
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell (preferred)
• Understanding of networking concepts like load balancing and DNS (preferred)
• Relevant certifications like AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (preferred)
