Led by Dr. Ara Karamanian a board certified diagnostic and interventional radiologist HALO Medical Group Texas Professional Association doing business as Prostate Laser Center provides cutting-edge patient care for men with prostate cancer and BPH. We combine multiparametric 3T MRI and an FDA cleared laser for precision BPH and prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment. More than 300 patients from all over the world have been treated at the Prostate Laser Center a HALO Diagnostics company. It is the only center in the US to offer both TULSA-PRO and Focal Laser Ablation as prostate cancer and BPH therapies. Located in the heart of Houstons Medical Center Dr. Karamanian and the entire team are well-known for the special one-on-one concierge care they provide to each patient and patients family before during and after every treatment provided. the Position

We are hiring a full-time onsite Administrative Assistant for an outpatient concierge practice located in the medical center 6624 Fannin St. Suite 2580 Houston Texas 77030 with a Monday - Friday 8:30 am-4:30 pm schedule.

Job responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet patients one of our values is patients first!
• Responsible for timely pre and post-operation follow-ups for all procedures
• Manages the data collection and documentation of all clinical information
• Answers and directs phone calls to appropriate office staff
• Distributes emails correspondence memos and forms to patients
• Coordinates with other facilities to set up procedure appointment times
• Gathers and prepares clinical information for clinical team to conduct follow-up procedures
• Responsible for sending collecting and quality checking procedure orders from the doctor
• Update and maintain patients health records
• Answer patients queries and ensure quality patient concierge service
• Collaborates with doctors and nurses to help with medical examinations schedule tests
• Invoices patients collects and deposits payments

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or Office Admin Assistant
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

• Working knowledge of office equipment like printers and fax machines
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint in particular)
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Must communicate well (written and verbal)

Pay Range: $18 - $22
