2. Job Summary
The Glass Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales acquiring new clients and managing key customer relationships within the glass market. This role requires a deep understanding of glass products excellent negotiation skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be proactive resilient under pressure and dedicated to achieving and exceeding sales targets.

3. Key Responsibilities & Duties

A. Sales & Business Development:

  • Proactively prospect identify and acquire new clients (e.g. construction firms contractors architects individual homeowners).
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new market segments and increase market share.
  • Conduct persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.

B. Customer Relationship & Account Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of clients ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide expert technical advice on glass types specifications (e.g. thickness safety ratings thermal properties) and appropriate applications.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints and after-sales service issues promptly and professionally to maintain trust and positive relationships.

C. Order Processing & Operational Coordination:

  • Accurately process customer orders from quotation to delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with the production logistics and installation teams to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and delivered within agreed deadlines.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales cycle including contract negotiation pricing agreements and payment follow-up.

D. Market Intelligence & Strategy:

  • Conduct ongoing market research to monitor competitor activities pricing strategies and industry trends.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for service improvement and new product development.
  • Submit regular sales reports and market analysis to management with actionable recommendations.

4. Key Requirements

A. Education:

Minimum requirement: Advanced level degree

B. Experience:

A minimum of2 years of proven experiencein a B2B or B2C sales role preferably within theglass construction materials or building products industry.

C. Technical & Professional Skills:

  • Solid understanding of different glass types.
  • Mastery of sales techniques from prospecting to closing and proven negotiation skills.
  • Excellent ability to manage client relationships and resolve issues effectively.
  • Competence in using CRM software Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word) and managing sales documentation.

D. Personal Attributes:

  • Honest reliable and represents the company with utmost professionalism.
  • Self-motivated results-oriented and persistently focused on achieving goals.
  • Maintains composure stability and a positive attitude under pressure and in the face of challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in French; proficiency in English is a significant plus.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
