The role/Te mahi

We have an exciting opportunity available for a highly organised administrator to provide administrative services to the Division of this pivotal role you will provide essential support to undergraduate and postgraduate academic teaching staff as Administrator in the Department of Management.

Key tasks include:
Delivering comprehensive administrative support across the Division.
Responding to student or visitor enquiries.
Offering administrative assistance with teaching support meeting administration coordinating events.
Managing office supplies maintaining systems and ensuring a well-organised workspace.
Handling inquiries meeting arrangements minute-taking and other office duties as required.
Financial tasks including purchase card reconciliation reimbursements purchasing and invoicing.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.

About our team/Mō te tīma

Divisional Services and Administration is a team of highly skilled professionals responsible for delivering outstanding student and staff experiences through high quality confidential secretarial and administrative support services. We are a strong supportive whakawhanaungatanga (community) proud of the work we do as the largest workforce in the university spanning every corner of the motu.

This is a permanent full-time (37.5 hours per week) position located in Ōtepoti Dunedin.

The appointment range for this role is $63508 to $68185. Top of Range $73640.

The Administrator function includes Kaiwhakahaere Tari positions which support the implementation of our Māori Strategic Framework and the Universitys commitment to the success of Māori students and staff. The salary range for Kaiwhakahaere Tari roles are $69931 to $80285.
