Long-Term Substitute Spanish/French Teacher
Location: Williston Central School
Champlain Valley School District has an opening for a Long Term Substitute Spanish/French Teacher from January 6th-February 10th at Williston Central School. We are looking for a passionate indiviudal to cover our 7th and 8th grade classes. A successful candidate is likely to possess the following qualifications:
- licensed in Vermont for K-12 Spanish and French with demonstrated fluency in reading writing and speaking
- able to build strong relationships with a wide variety of students
- a team player who is flexible and collaborative
- has a strong background in planning implementing and assessing a standards-based curriculum
- has thorough knowledge of the ACTFL national standards
- is able to motivate each student to cultivate an appreciation for the learning of a world language and the cultures of the peoples who speak them
