Job Summary

The Ayer Shirley Regional School District is seeking a Third Grade Teacher to work from May 22 2026 through the end of the 2025-2026 school primary responsibilities of the Educator will include but not be limited to the following:
  • Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with Massachusetts curriculum standards using district-assigned curricular materials
  • Assess student progress through various methods and use the information to adjust instruction
  • Provide an equitable classroom environment by effectively meeting the individual needs of all students
  • Regularly communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior.
  • Collaborate with peers and participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the building administration
