Job Summary

Title: Integrated Preschool - Long Term Substitute TeacherLocation: Noyes Elementary School Reports to: Principal Position Summary: The Sudbury Public Schools a preK-8 district is seeking a skilled and experienced early childhood/special education preschool long term substitute teacher to teach at the Noyes Elementary School in one of its integrated preschool programs. The Integrated Preschool provides academic social and behavioral support to students on IEPs with diverse learning needs in an integrated preschool setting with tuition peers. A successful candidate must possess knowledge of current common core learning standards specialized instructional strategies Applied Behavioral Analysis and data collection systems a well-differentiated teaching approach knowledge of research-based early childhood curriculum and diagnostic evaluation skills that are inclusive of: Research-based early childhood curriculum integrated with social and behavior interventions; Diagnostic assessment IEP development & progress reporting; Team collaboration skills (therapists assistants and tutors); Management and organization of schedules and support staff; Communication with Families. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Plan develop and utilize a variety of instructional materials and aids appropriate to the intellectual and instructional level of students from varied socio-economic and cultural backgrounds that possess a range of mental and emotional maturity; Provide group and individual instruction to motivate students and effectively utilize the time available for instructional activities; Use assessment data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices; Evaluate academic growth of students and maintain appropriate records; Participate in curriculum development grade-level activities and school-wide functions; Support students academic social and emotional development; Implement curricula and activities to meet academic standards; Design and implement assessments that measure progress towards academic standards; Communicate effectively and consistently with students families and colleagues; Provide support accommodations and attention to all students; Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to school improvement efforts; Ensure students are engaged and invested in the classroom and managing behavior; Complete other related duties as assigned. Salary: In Accordance with the SPS Substitute Pay Guidelines$250/day (DESE certification required) or $125/dayApril - June 2026Hiring is contingent upon a successful CORI and fingerprinting clearance.
