KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The IT Application & Analytics LATAM works thoroughly aligned with HQs BA service owners HQ Data Team BRMs and local peers of IT and business to ensure staying informed about relevant projects for counterparts in countries.
The IT Application & Analytics analyst LATAM is responsible for service ownership and management of specific LATAM Analytics products.
The IT Application & Analytics analyst LATAM is also responsible for assessing insights related demands from the different areas of the business (sales logistics marketing etc) scoping the need and identifying the right technology together with its counterparts in LATAM or HQ. For the realization of analytics demands the IT Application & Analytics analyst LATAM either relies on the skillset of other peers in the organization or will directly integrate and visualize data.
DEMAND CAPTURE & ALIGNMENT PROCESS SUPPORT
Person acts as regional counterpart for Analytics requests.
Capturing scoping documenting and prioritizing local demands (incl. HQ security or local privacy requirements).
Thorough understanding of the underlying business case.
Enabling the business-to-business communication.
Ensuring a well-prepared and transparent decision process.
Communication and explanation of taken decisions.
SUPPORTING SERVICE DELIVERY & PROJECTS
Project oversight for global or regional projects.
Project documentation and action plans on communication training handover support.
Stakeholder communication.
Third Party Management.
Satisfaction of business and users with new services or the operation throughout.
SUPPORTING SERVICE OWNERSHIP OPERATION & CSI PROCESSES
Service ownership for aligned and agreed regional services.
Management and coordination of external support & development partners.
Alignment with local and global service owners to ensure strategy fit of solutions.
Alignment development and maintenance of service roadmaps within the IT area.
Ensure country requirements are communicated to global service owners.
Regular review of operational KPIs to ensure insights on the service knowledge and performance are generated and improvement actions are derived.
ANALYTICS
Assessing analytics demands from teams across the area LATAM.
Performing user interviews to understand the different interests of the people involved.
Analyzing the different data involved and their sources.
Working with HQ Data committee to define a goal for the data visualization.
Identifying data integration options methods and technology.
Aligning the approach with decision makers in the area LATAM and HQ.
Support the realization process through externals or realization autonomously depending on the topic and the skill set.
Closing demands ensuring success.
Documenting and managing analytics use cases throughout their lifecycle.
Qualifications :
Degree in computer science business informatics or equivalent experience.
Strong communicator and relator solid and broad business process understanding.
Project Management experience ITIL knowhow beyond theory.
Team-oriented self-driven and motivated personality hands-on and flexible thinking from the end.
Ability to understand complex and different types of requirements and translate those into technical concepts.
Excellent skills to interact with all levels of employees/executives.
Precise systematic accuracy and structured way of working.
Performance and result orientation.
Spoken and written English mandatory Spanish a plus.
Strong mathematical skills to help collect measure organize and analyze data.
Interest or experience on working with analytics skills such as data management and visualization.
Technical proficiency regarding database design development data models techniques for data mining and segmentation.
