Join our dynamic and growing team as a German-Speaking Remote Customer Support Specialist and be the voice of our popular Subscription Video On-Demand (SVOD) streaming service for our German-speaking audience.

About the Role

As a German-Speaking Customer Support Specialist you will be the first point of contact for our customers providing professional and efficient support via various channels (including chat email and potentially phone). Your primary focus will be resolving inquiries related to our streaming platform ensuring a seamless and enjoyable viewing experience for our German-speaking users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Multichannel Support: Respond to and resolve customer inquiries with accuracy and empathy across multiple support channels (chat email etc.) primarily in German.
  • Troubleshooting: Expertly troubleshoot and resolve technical issues including:

    • Access & Login: Forgotten passwords sign-in problems and device registration.
    • Streaming & Quality: Buffering playback errors video quality concerns and app functionality on various devices (Smart TVs mobile web etc.).
    • Billing & Subscription: Questions related to subscription plans payment methods cancellations and refund requests.
  • Account Management: Assist customers with updating account information managing their subscription settings and navigating the platforms features and content.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Accurately document all customer interactions issues and resolutions in our CRM system. Escalate complex or unresolved issues to specialized internal teams (e.g. L2 Tech Support Billing) with clear and concise summaries.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep and up-to-date knowledge of our streaming services content library features pricing and ongoing promotions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify common customer pain points and provide feedback to management and product teams to help improve our service and support processes.

Requirements

Must-Haves

  • Language Fluency: Fluent/Native (C1/C2 level) proficiency in German (both written and verbal) to provide seamless support to our customers.
  • English Proficiency: Intermediate (B1 level) proficiency in English for internal communication training and documentation.
  • Location: Must be a legal resident of Turkey and eligible to work remotely within the country.
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong comfort level with technology including quickly learning new software troubleshooting home Wi-Fi and streaming devices and providing step-by-step guidance to customers.

Good to Have

  • Prior experience (6 months) in a customer service technical support or call center environment is a plus but not mandatory. We welcome eager fast learners!
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g. Zendesk Salesforce) or ticketing systems.
  • A personal interest in subscription video streaming services movies and TV series.

Work Schedule & Remote Setup

  • Remote Work: This is a fully remote position based in Turkey.
  • Equipment: All necessary work equipment (laptop headset etc.) will be provided by the company.
  • Shifts: You must be flexible and available to work in rotating shifts 5 days a week as part of our operational coverage.

    • Summer Schedule (Example Shifts):

      • 10:00 - 19:00
      • 13:00 - 22:00
      • 16:00 - 01:00
    • Winter Schedule (Example Shifts):

      • 11:00 - 20:00
      • 14:00 - 23:00
      • 17:00 - 02:00
