PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: Up to 60000 plus 5441 London Weighting depending on relevant skills knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
Please note: While BBC Studios offers 26 days of annual leave Studioworks provides 25 days. Other benefits may also vary slightly between the two entities

WE ARE BBC STUDIOWORKS

BBC Studioworks Ltd is a commercial arm of the BBC delivering world-class studio facilities post-production services and related services to the market. It works with production companies and broadcasters to create and edit content for a variety of channels and broadcasters - including the BBCs EastEnders and Strictly Come Dancing to Pointless and ITVs The Chase.

The companys main studios are based in Borehamwood/Elstree and Television Centre in Shepherds Bush London. It also operates a studio in Kelvin Hall Glasgow which launched in 2022. Most recently BBC Studioworks is expanding to Digbeth taking on the management of an exciting new studio facility dedicated to film and television productions.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The purpose of this role is to strengthen and grow BBC Studioworks Postproduction community by building meaningful relationships with our clients and ensuring every project receives exceptional care and attention. Through thoughtful processes clear communication and a focus on our clients creative goals we aim to deliver consistently outstanding experiences that keep producers returning to our facilities and ensuring high levels of utilisation.
In a competitive and fast-moving industry some producers already know and trust our services while others may be discovering us for the first time. This role plays a key part in ensuring that every producer feels welcomed supported and confident that BBC Studioworks is the right partner for their postproduction needs.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:

• Drive utilisation and revenue growth for BBC Studioworks Postproduction contributing to commercial targets.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships engaging proactively with new and existing customers.
• Lead commercial negotiations from initial quote through to contract completion.
• Manage enquiries and ensure timely follow-up to maximise opportunities and client loyalty.
• Collaborate with commercial and operations teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
• Identify opportunities for new services volume deals and joint studio/postproduction contracts.
• Support pricing strategies and reporting systems to optimise yield and enhance client experience.
  
  

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

• Strong knowledge of TV studio production and the broadcast facilities market.
• Proven experience in a similar role within a production facility or media company.
• Deep understanding of production processes workflows and postproduction operations.
• Exceptional client management skills with a proactive approach to winning work.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills supported by industry contacts and networking ability.
• Experience in the shiny floor entertainment sector of TV.
• Commercial acumen with analytical skills for budgeting pricing strategies and opportunity evaluation
• Proficiency in Excel and confidence using in-house booking systems and reporting tools.
