Specialist Source-to-Contract NA

The Sr. Analyst Source-to-Contract (S2C) will play a crucial role within the Healthcare Professional (HCP) team by ensuring the Global Services (GS) Procurement Source-to-Contract organization achieves its objectives. This position supports the Marketing Research and Clinical Development categories as aligned with the broader goals of Global Services One Procurement and Johnson & Johnson. The Specialist collaborates with business partners legal teams subject matter experts and other stakeholders to oversee the operational execution of contracting cases legal escalations and essential functions within Source-to-Contract.

This role performs duties related to the implementation and execution of the organizations HCP needs from assisting with contract drafting negotiation and contract management activities through executing cost reduction strategies.

The Specialist Source-to-Contract is a productive individual contributor who works under moderate supervision to identify and address needs of internal stakeholders and contributes improvements to procurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Support: Performs the day-to-day operations of the HCP Contracting Team within the S2C function including drafting negotiation and execution and stakeholder management activities. Delivers against defined Service Levels.

  • Compliance Focus: Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory legal and company policies and procedures.

  • Contract Request Handling:Review contract requests gather necessary information and populate the appropriate contract templates ensuring all approvals from key internal stakeholders are secured.

  • Contracting Process Oversight:Manage the entire contracting process from analyzing contract requests to drafting reviewing and managing redlines/draft versions through the full execution of complex agreements. Drive negotiations and engage support as needed.

  • Continuous Improvement:Supports continuous improvements in user experience effectiveness and efficiency in assigned area of responsibility.

  • Automation Initiatives:Supports development and implementation of automation and AI (Artificial Intelligence) and automation initiatives within assigned areas of responsibility.

  • Relationship Building:Builds relationships with internal customers and works to understand their business objectives and provides support in addressing their needs.

  • Coaching & Mentoring: Acts as a coach for more junior colleagues in techniques processes and responsibilities

  • Cultural Alignment:Understands and applies Johnson & Johnsons Credo and Leadership Imperatives in daily interactions.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent University degree is required.

An MBA or further advanced degree is preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 2-4 years of experience in contract drafting and negotiation experience or in procurement with Digital Skills.

  • Collaboration Communication & Influencing Skills: Should be regarded as a constructive player in various teams within the company and outside. Should have the requisite communication skills to communicate & influence objectives and then develop collaborative relationships both internally and externally to achieve them.

  • Learning agility adaptability & openness to change

  • Attention to detail with a track record of accuracy in document and data review ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Fluency in English (written and oral) is required.

Preferred:

Good understanding of Source-to-settle processes and operations is preferred.

Shared Services Industry experience is preferred.
