About the role

As part of our strategy to Operate Simply and Efficiently we are strengthening our enterprise-wide process architecture to improve compliance customer outcomes and organisational resilience.

To support this we have a new opportunity for a Process Architecture Specialist to join our Process Architecture team. This role plays a key part in documenting how our bank operates linking critical processes with risks and controls and supporting our uplift under APRA CPS230.

Youll work closely with business units Risk & Compliance and vendors to ensure process maps are accurate consistent and aligned to our enterprise standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact helping improve how the organisation understands and governs the processes that underpin our customers and people.

In this role youll get to

• Map and maintain business processes using our enterprise modelling standards and tools.
• Link risks controls and key metadata to ensure CPS230 traceability and compliance.
• Facilitate workshops with SMEs to validate processes and understand real-life practices.
• Support governance activities such as quality assurance version control and publication.
• Provide coaching and education to uplift process mapping capability across the bank.
• Contribute to training materials templates and guidance used across the organisation.
• Partner with vendors to review improve and maintain high-quality documentation.
• Play an important role in simplifying and standardising how we operate.

What youll bring to the role

• Experience in Business Process Management (BPM) process mapping or process governance.
• Hands-on experience with process modelling tools (Holocentric Signavio Nintex Promapp or similar).
• Understanding of operational risk and controls ideally with exposure to APRA standards.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to engage confidently with SMEs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including producing clear documentation.
• A collaborative mindset demonstrating resilience curiosity and willingness to learn.

This is a full-time 12-month secondment opportunity based at one of our corporate office locations (Brisbane Ipswich Melbourne Bendigo Adelaide or Sydney).
