Job Summary
The Opportunity
Downers Energy & Utilities business is seeking a People & Culture Advisor to join our Skilltech Metering this role you will provide trusted advice and coaching to operational leaders and employees on all Downer people processes and policies. Youll respond tactically to day-to-day HR and employee relations issues enabling the business to meet its strategic objectives.
This opportunity allows for WFH and flexible working options with offices based in Brisbane and Sydney. We are open to applications from candidates located in either of these locations.
What Were Looking For
- Deliver timely and tactical HR advice to managers and employees.
- Support HR strategy aligned with business goals.
- Assist with Employee & Industrial Relations (ER/IR) matters and ensure compliance with workplace legislation.
- Coordinate HR administration reporting and workforce metrics.
- Act as a positive change agent and successfully manage cultural change initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Industrial Relations or related Business Management (desirable).
- 25 years experience in a similar role within communications infrastructure utilities or construction.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Modern Awards NES and relevant workplace legislation.
- Experience with HR systems and reporting.
