Senior Cyber Security Advisor

To support our ongoing focus on strengthening cyber resilience were looking for an experienced Senior Cyber Security Advisor for a 12month fixedterm role to lead thirdparty security oversight enhance our cyber risk practices and contribute to the continued evolution of our Information Security Management System (ISMS).

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a critical infrastructure environment work with a collaborative team who are committed to safeguarding Sunwaters systems data and customers.

In this role youll take ownership of Sunwaters thirdparty cyber risk processes ensuring our suppliers meet robust security expectations and that our internal stakeholders are empowered to make informed decisions. Youll also play a key part in maturing our ISMS strengthening policies and driving continuous improvement across our security controls.

In addition you will:-

• Lead and mature Sunwaters thirdparty cyber risk and security governance processes including framework refinement supplier assessments and clear reporting to stakeholders.
• Strengthen security controls across the organisation by guiding vulnerability management activities advising stakeholders and maintaining effective security policies procedures and audit followup actions.
• Drive continuous improvement of the Information Security Management System by reviewing compliance against best practice addressing identified gaps and recommending enhancements to Sunwaters cyber security controls.

Youll thrive in this role if you bring 57 years of cyber security experience strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly. Youll understand key frameworks such as ISO27001 the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and Essential Eight supported by certifications like CISSP CISM CRISC or ISO27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer. A proactive curious mindset and a commitment to strengthening cyber resilience in a critical infrastructure environment will set you up for success.

This is a full time 12-month fixed term opportunity based at our Fortitude Valley office.
