What You Will Do:
- Secure large group business by prospecting new clients nurturing existing relationships and aligning sales efforts with the hotels business plan.
- Represent the hotel at tradeshows client events and brand forums to grow visibility and strengthen key partnerships (travel required).
- Develop tailored proposals and negotiate contracts that drive revenue meet volume patterns and support long-term success.
- Stay active in industry organizations like MPI PCMA or ASAE to expand your network and uncover new opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with operations and revenue teams to ensure client needs are clearly communicated and flawlessly executed.
- Keep sales action plans and CRM systems up to date using data and insights to stay one step ahead of market trends.
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven Large Group Sales Success: 5 years of experience selling large groups in full-service hotels shows you can handle the pressure and deliver results.
- Goal Crusher: Prior sales responsibility of $2M demonstrates your ability to consistently hit targets.
- Market Knowledge: Experience in the current market helps you hit the ground running.
- Tech Fluency: Experience with or Marriott CI/TY ensures you can navigate our sales tools with ease.
- Road Warrior: Willingness to travel 25% of the timebecause relationships are built face-to-face.
