About the opportunity
This role is situated within the Tasmanian School of Business and Economics (TSBE) and reports to the School Business Manager. The Administration Officer Industry Impact and Engagement play a vital role in supporting the schools strategic and operational goals related to industry partnerships and engagement working closely with the Associate Head of Industry Impact and Engagement to ensure the seamless coordination and integration of key information.
What youll do:
- Support the implementation of School and Discipline level strategic initiatives and operation plans.
- Provide administrative support to the Associate Head of Industry Impact and Engagement.
- Build manage and coordinate effective working relationships both internally and externally to the School identifying and developing opportunities to enhance communications and engage key stakeholders.
- Act as the main point of contact for enquiries from course and major coordinators other academic research and professional staff Student Advisers and students regarding Industry Impact
- Actively raise awareness of external engagement opportunities and programs to students school staff and industry stakeholders.
What were looking for:
- A degree in a relevant field such as marketing and events management or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education training.
- Extensive administration experience in the field of higher education academic administration.
- Ability to manage complex projects within an academic environment.
- A history of successfully applying a growth mindset and of positive contribution to a culture of team and individual excellence.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively and professionally with members of the public professional bodies and stakeholders.
Salary details
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 5 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $105665 comprising base salary within the range of $80869 to $90312 plus 17% superannuation.
