The Position
2026 Summer Intern - EFBAA Site Ops & Maintenance
Department Summary
As an intern working under the guidance of the Plant Engineer you will be exposed to various aspects of facility management and engineering in a regulated cGxP environment.
This internship position is located in Pleasanton CA On-site
The Opportunity
This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in facilities engineering and management providing opportunities for learning and professional development. Additional responsibilities may be assigned to enhance your overall internship experience.
Contribute to defining projects and developing innovative solutions.
Participate in the development of project documentation.
Assist in the implementation of engineering changes/additions.
Learn to represent the site as a Facilities Subject Matter Expert (SME) on capital projects.
Assist in identifying energy savings opportunities.
Program Highlights
Intensive 12-weeks full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.
Program start dates are in May/June (Summer)
A stipend based on location will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.
Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.
Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.
Who You Are (Required)
Required Education: You meet one of the following criteria:
Must be pursuing a Bachelors Degree (enrolled student).
Required Majors: An engineering discipline (Electrical Mechanical or Chemical preferred)
Preferred Knowledge Skills and Qualifications
Excellent communication collaboration and interpersonal skills.

The expected hourly rate for this position based on the primary location for this position of Pleasanton CA is $26/hr - $33/hr. Actual pay will be determined based on experience level qualifications geographic location and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
