Senior Account Executive FINPRO Corporate Brisbane


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our esteemed FINPRO Corporate team based in this role you will play a pivotal part in maintaining and growing our financial lines client portfolio.

Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate strong client relationships and provide exceptional client service including ongoing client engagement meticulous risk and insurance program administration provision of technical expertise and active participation in business development initiatives. You will also collaborate closely with various departments within Marsh.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and nurture a financial lines client portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships by proactively understanding and responding to their needs.
  • Implement renewal and broking strategies tailored to client requirements.
  • Liaise with the Claims team to safeguard client interests and ensure timely claims settlement.
  • Foster sound working relationships with insurers and participate in negotiations.
  • Oversee renewals credit control and reporting for the client portfolio.
  • Identify and act upon new business opportunities whether new or expanded.
  • Introduce new products or broader policies when appropriate.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies quality practices and established systems and procedures.
  • Comply fully with the Companys Errors and Omissions avoidance policy.
  • Collaborate with Marsh Client Operations (MCO) to ensure timely and accurate document production reporting and processing.
  • Mentor and support the development of Assistant Account Executives and Account Executives.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Insurance Experience: Minimum of 3 years in general or financial lines insurance broking.
  • Communication: Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Autonomous Work: Ability to work independently within a multi-skilled team.
  • Pressure Management: Proven ability to thrive under pressure manage workloads meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Client Focus: Strong dedication to client service with a knack for anticipating and exceeding client needs.
  • Self-Motivation: Results-oriented with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Problem-Solving: Skilled in problem-solving and creative thinking.
  • Confidentiality: Handles sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Administration: Sound business administration skills.
  • Software Proficiency: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite and ability to quickly adapt to new systems.

Educational and Professional Requirements:

  • Insurance Qualification: Holds a Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification or higher.
  • Compliance Training: Completed company-directed compliance training.

  • Client Service: Deliver excellent technical administrative and consulting support to clients focusing on client needs and high-quality work.
  • Change: Understand factors impacting service delivery including environmental financial regulatory and social influences. Familiarity with internal company technological capabilities is essential.
  • Working Relationships / Teamwork: Maintain effective relationships with colleagues clients and industry segments. Contribute to team success and support team goals.
  • Planning and Organization: Establish effective plans to ensure efficient and timely work completion.
  • Drive & Self-Motivation: Proactively seek and act on opportunities and calculated risks. Demonstrate willingness to take on increased responsibilities and act independently with appropriate managerial reference.
