SOLUTION ARCHITECT (HYBRID)

Portuguese company hires for hybrid / remote position

Location:Lisbon Portugal (hybrid) - 2/3 times per week in Client (Lisbon)

Only candidates already based in Portugal will be considered.

Language Requirements: Fluent in english / Portuguese and spanish (nice to have)

We are looking for a Solution Architect to design and guide the implementation of robust scalable and secure solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication and analytical skills ensuring that business requirements are translated into effective architectural designs.

Deliverables:

Documentation of logical architecture solution designs including impact analysis across the supporting business units
API design and specification

Must Have:

Degree in Software Engineering Computer Engineering or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with global and cross-functional teams
Critical thinking mindset with strong problem-solving skills
High commitment to delivery quality
Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Architecture certification (Microsoft Cloud etc.)
Ability to critically assess business requirements and align them with the clients reference application architecture
Solid understanding of different architectural components and frameworks
Strong focus on clear and compliant architectural documentation
Ability to clearly communicate security application and technology architecture principles and effectively advocate for their adoption

Highly Desirable:

Knowledge of the Iberian retail energy market
Experience in Electric Mobility
Knowledge of Field Services

Nice to Have:

Understanding of the Energy & Utilities market and GDPR
Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
Previous project experience
Knowledge of Portuguese or Spanish

Architecture certifications (Microsoft Cloud etc.)
Strong ability to analyse business requirements and align them with reference architectures
Deep knowledge of architectural components and frameworks
