Role Overview

We are looking for an Application Support Technician to join atransversal IT team responsible for critical Finance and Risk applicationswithin a large international IT environment. This role combines technical application support functionalanalysis and close interaction with business and IT stakeholdersensuring application availability reliability and continuous improvement.

You will play an active role in supporting andevolving a core risk data application working closely with business teams developersand IT operations to ensure high-quality service delivery and smooth productionreleases.

Key Responsibilities

Develop strong functional and technicalknowledge of the application and its business context to provide efficient andtimely user support

Deliver high-quality technical and functional applicationsupport to business users

Build maintain and enrich a knowledge base forsupport incidents and resolutions

Process specific user requests such as data processingdata extraction and ad hoc operations

Define control points operating procedures andad hoc reports to ensure stable and reliable operations

Analyze business needs and translate them into functional requirements andspecifications

Engage all relevant stakeholders in thevalidation and impact assessment of new requirements

Collaborate closely with Business Analysts Developers and ITOperations across all development phases (specificationdevelopment testing and production deployment)

Prepare environments for releases and ensureproper execution of pre-production tests and production implementations

Technical Skills

Proven experience as an Application Support Technicianor Business Analyst

Strong knowledge of ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes

Solid SQLexpertise

Basic knowledge of Credit Risk concepts(e.g. GRR RWA LGD Probability of Default)

Familiarity with the following technologies andtools:

o UNIX/ Shell scripting

o Java

o JavaScript(Angular)

o Python

o Git

o Confluence

o JIRA

Language Requirements

English Fluent / Expert (mandatory)

French Basic knowledge (nice to have)
