We are hiring a Staff Nurse to lead a nursing home in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the smooth and efficient daily operation of the facility while fostering a supportive and respectful environment for all residents.
Monitor residents health report any concerns promptly and arrange medical or professional reviews when required.
Complete maintain and regularly update individualised Care Plans in line with professional guidelines and in collaboration with residents families and multidisciplinary teams.
Assess residents nursing social and health needs providing direct clinical care and support as necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation conduct regular resident checks and provide clear handovers to incoming staff.
Administer medications safely and accurately following professional and organisational policies.
Communicate effectively with residents families colleagues and external professionals and participate in meetings as required.
Supervise and support junior or new staff attend mandatory training and maintain up-to-date professional knowledge.
Promote safe working practices by adhering to health and safety procedures reporting hazards and ensuring a clean well-maintained environment.
Uphold confidentiality follow all organisational policies secure the premises use resources responsibly and complete any additional reasonable duties assigned.
Requirements
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Genuine interest in working with the relevant client group
Current registration with An Bord Altranais
Strong team player
Registered 1st level Nurse
Experience or qualification in care for the relevant client category
Knowledge of HIQA Standards
Previous supervisory experience
