We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager 3 - Theatre (Interim) for a leading Hospital in Dublin Ireland.

Job Type: Temporary Specified Purpose
Hours: Full-Time 37.5 hours per week
Responsibilities
Provide strong professional and clinical leadership within the Operating Theatres promoting evidence-based practice and the highest standards of patient care.
Manage and evaluate patient care delivery to ensure clinical effectiveness efficiency safety and compliance with best practice standards.
Monitor service quality patient outcomes and complaints providing professional guidance and working closely with Quality and Risk teams to drive improvement.
Lead the development implementation and review of theatre policies procedures and infection prevention and control standards.
Ensure accurate clinical documentation appropriate patient information and timely reporting to the Matron and senior nursing management.
Provide effective managerial leadership through workforce planning staff allocation rota management recruitment performance review and absence management.
Foster a positive flexible and supportive working environment that promotes staff morale teamwork engagement and mandatory training compliance.
Oversee the operational management of the Operating Theatres ensuring safe clean and efficient environments and effective communication across departments.
Act as part of the senior nursing team deputising for the Matron as required contributing to committees MDT collaboration and service planning.
Lead education training and professional development within the department supporting students identifying skill mix requirements and maintaining own continuous professional development.
Requirements
Registered on the General Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Hold a Category 2 qualification in Operating Theatre Technique.
Demonstrated experience working in an acute hospital operating theatre environment.
Possess a relevant management qualification appropriate to the role.
