We are currently recruiting a Clinical Nurse Specialist Rapid Cardiac Care for a leading hospital in Dublin Ireland. This role offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional patient-centred care within a healthcare environment where quality respect compassion and dignity are at the core of all practice.
This is a full-time position 37.5 hours per week.
- As an independent patient care manager within a multidisciplinary team you will be responsible for delivering personalized and individualized care to a group of patients
- This role will primarily involve working in our acute cardiac assessment clinic collaborating closely with consultant cardiologists the ED unit and the angiography unit.
- Developing and fostering relationships with other acute care facilities and acting as a liaison with general practitioners to promote our services. Additionally you will serve as a valuable resource throughout the hospital for the care of cardiology patients.
- In addition to clinical responsibilities and a comprehensive understanding of the Domains of Competence outlined by NMBI you will also be expected to advocate for patients participate in audits and research and contribute to the management of patient care.
- This position requires a high level of professionalism dedication and a commitment to providing exceptional care to our patients.
Requirements
Registered on the General Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development (CPD).
Demonstrated experience working in an acute cardiology clinical setting.
Higher Diploma in Cardiology Nursing (or equivalent relevant qualification).
Proven management or leadership experience within a clinical environment.
