Key Responsibilities
- Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency quality and cost reduction.
- Design develop and scale new manufacturing processes and equipment layouts.
- Troubleshoot process deviations identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain process documentation standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Analyze process data to identify trends improve yields and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introductions and process transfers.
- Ensure all processes comply with safety environmental and quality standards.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- 2-5 years of experience in process optimization and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of process control systems P&IDs and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proven ability to apply Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies for continuous improvement.
- Experience with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Proficiency with statistical analysis or process simulation software (e.g. Minitab JMP Arena)
- Experience with automation robotics or PLC systems
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Familiarity with data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau Power BI)
