Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet production demands and minimize carrying costs.
Develop and implement material planning strategies including forecasting and scheduling.
Oversee inbound logistics and warehousing operations for efficient material flow and storage.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality materials and foster strong relationships.
Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems and processes often utilizing ERP/MRP.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in material management practices and cost reduction.
Lead mentor and develop the materials planning and logistics team.

Recommended Qualifications

5 years of progressive experience in materials management supply chain or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field.
Demonstrated proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) for inventory planning and production control.
Proven ability to optimize inventory levels manage demand forecasting and implement effective inventory control strategies.
Strong leadership analytical and communication skills to drive cross-functional collaboration and process improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
Proficiency with advanced data analytics and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
Experience with specific ERP module implementation or optimization (e.g. SAP MM Oracle SCM).
