The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Develop implement and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency cost reduction and quality.
Design procure and validate tooling fixtures and equipment for production.
Troubleshoot production issues identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring manufacturability and smooth transition to production.
Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation including SOPs work instructions and process flowcharts.
Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks reduce waste and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Mechanical Industrial or related engineering field.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD) for design and layout.
Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma).
Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes (e.g. machining assembly automation welding).
Ability to design develop and implement tooling fixtures and production equipment.
Proven experience in root cause analysis and problem-solving for manufacturing issues.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience with advanced automation robotics or IIoT implementations.
Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g. Python R Power BI).
Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or ERP integration.
