Key Responsibilities

Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency quality and cost reduction.
Design develop and implement manufacturing tools jigs and fixtures.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
Support new product introduction by defining manufacturing methods and ensuring smooth transition to production.
Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions and process specifications.
Evaluate select and specify manufacturing equipment to improve production capabilities.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field.
3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on process optimization and continuous improvement.
Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g. Kaizen 5S Value Stream Mapping) and Six Sigma methodologies.
Experience with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD) for tooling fixture design or plant layout.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex manufacturing problems propose solutions and implement process improvements.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with robotic programming and automation integration.
Proficiency in advanced simulation software (e.g. FEA discrete event simulation).
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
Proven experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing scale-up.
Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g. Python R SQL) for process optimization.
