- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to the manufacturing environment.
- Oversee performance management processes including goal setting appraisals and performance improvement plans.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs including wage scales shift differentials and benefits enrollment.
- Identify training needs and coordinate development programs for manufacturing staff to enhance skills and productivity.
Recommended Qualifications
- Experience managing HR functions within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws including OSHA compliance.
- Proven ability in talent acquisition for production skilled trades and technical roles.
- Strong background in employee relations conflict resolution and performance management.
- Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems relevant to a manufacturing workforce.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety culture development in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience managing HR for a multi-shift or production-line workforce.
- Proven ability to develop and implement technical training or apprenticeship programs.
