Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal state and local EHS regulations and company policies.
• Develop implement and manage comprehensive EHS programs policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular EHS audits inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations root cause analysis and implement preventative measures.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all employees contractors and visitors.
• Manage hazardous waste air emissions wastewater discharge and other environmental programs.
• Maintain EHS records prepare regulatory reports and track key performance indicators.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Science Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory capacity.
• Expert knowledge of federal state and local EHS regulations (OSHA EPA etc.) applicable to industrial operations.
• Proven ability to develop implement and manage comprehensive EHS programs policies and procedures.
• Relevant professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist).
• Demonstrated experience in incident investigation root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
• Experience integrating EHS initiatives with Lean Manufacturing or Operational Excellence programs.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing comprehensive industrial hygiene programs.
• Proficiency with EHS management software (e.g. Gensuite Intelex Cority) and data analytics for performance tracking.
