Job Summary

Role Summary

The EHS Engineer position is a key member of MacLean-Foggs EHS team and supports the execution of our overall safety strategy and goals. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the design and implementation of world class EHS systems as we work towards Mission Zero.

Job Details

  • Position Type: Exempt
  • Work Location: Whitewater WI & Menomonee Falls WI
  • Travel: 20%

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enforce EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations of ISO-14001/ISO-45001 certification pertaining to company operations.
  • Perform regular risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety and environmental hazards.
  • Conduct routine safety audits and facility inspections to monitor compliance and detect potential hazards.
  • Provide training to employees on EHS protocols safety procedures and emergency response.
  • Develop and maintain environmental programs including waste management pollution control and sustainability initiatives.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure the organization complies with OSHA EPA and other relevant regulations.
  • Environmental Programs: Develop and maintain environmental programs including waste management pollution control and sustainability initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EHS activities including incident reports and compliance audits.
  • Maintains OSHA logs EHS records and reporting for internal and external use.
  • Perform all other duties assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Education: Bachelors
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in EHS or related field within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to train and educate employees on EHS practices.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
