Key Responsibilities
- Lead the identification development and implementation of continuous improvement projects (e.g. Lean Six Sigma).
- Facilitate cross-functional teams to analyze current processes identify waste and develop solutions.
- Provide training and coaching to employees at all levels on Lean manufacturing principles and CI tools.
- Monitor and report on the progress and financial impact of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices for process optimization.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Collaborate with production engineering and quality teams to ensure alignment of CI efforts with business goals.
Recommended Qualifications
- 5 years of experience driving continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in Lean methodologies (e.g. Kaizen VSM 5S) and Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification highly preferred).
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple improvement projects concurrently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis and root cause identification.
- Exceptional communication coaching and change management abilities to influence and train at all levels.
Bonus Qualifications
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience applying change management methodologies (e.g. PROSCI).
- Ability to create data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
