Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Develop and implement strategies to foster a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
- Train coach and mentor employees at all levels on CI tools techniques and problem-solving.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities for waste reduction cost savings and process optimization.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of CI initiatives.
- Drive the standardization of best practices throughout manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CI principles into daily operations.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Business Operations Management or a related technical field.
- 5 years of progressive experience in continuous improvement roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (or equivalent expertise and project experience).
- Proven expertise in Lean manufacturing principles (e.g. VSM Kaizen 5S Standard Work SMED) and Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex improvement projects driving measurable results and cultural change.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and relevant software.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with ERP/MES systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) for data analysis and process integration.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and digital transformation initiatives in manufacturing.
- Certification or strong experience in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) or Theory of Constraints (TOC).
- Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive business cases and calculate ROI for improvement projects.
