Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable including processing vendor invoices and scheduling payments.
• Process accounts receivable including customer invoicing payment application and collections.
• Perform accurate and timely bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded and classified.
• Assist with payroll processing including timecard verification and expense reimbursements.
• Support month-end and year-end close procedures preparing necessary journal entries and reports.
• Track and reconcile inventory movements and related costs specific to manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven proficiency in general ledger accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
• Experience with inventory costing tracking and reconciliation in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite) or advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting month-end close processes and variance analysis.
• Prior bookkeeping or accounting experience within the manufacturing sector.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems common in manufacturing (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite Microsoft Dynamics).
• Basic understanding of cost accounting principles (e.g. inventory valuation WIP COGS).
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with inventory management processes and systems.
