The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
Program and configure Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) and robotic systems.
Troubleshoot diagnose and resolve issues with existing automated equipment and control systems.
Collaborate with production maintenance and engineering teams to optimize operational efficiency and reliability.
Develop and maintain technical documentation including schematics programming logic and operational procedures.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation system performance and reduce downtime.
Ensure all automation systems comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Mechanical Mechatronics or Automation Engineering.
Strong proficiency in PLC programming (e.g. Siemens Rockwell) and HMI/SCADA development.
Experience with industrial robotics (e.g. FANUC KUKA ABB) including programming and integration.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex automation system issues.
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols sensors actuators and motor control systems.
Prior experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) for operational insights.
Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices in an Operational Technology (OT) environment.
Knowledge of Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence applications in manufacturing (e.g. predictive maintenance quality control).
Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence) for inspection and guidance.
