Key Responsibilities

Design develop and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
Program and configure PLCs HMIs SCADA systems and industrial robots.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with automated equipment and control systems.
Optimize existing automation systems for improved efficiency reliability and throughput.
Collaborate with production maintenance and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation systems and processes.
Ensure all automation solutions comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g. Siemens Rockwell) HMI and SCADA system development and troubleshooting.
Experience with industrial robotics (e.g. FANUC KUKA ABB) and motion control systems.
Strong understanding and practical experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g. OPC UA Ethernet/IP Profinet).
Experience designing and implementing industrial vision systems for quality control and guidance.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Automation Engineering or a related technical field.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence).
Proficiency in industrial robot programming (e.g. Fanuc Kuka ABB Universal Robots).
Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) integration and data historians.
Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP PROFINET) and cybersecurity best practices.
Experience using electrical CAD software (e.g. EPLAN AutoCAD Electrical) for panel design.
