Position Title: Inventory Controller
Working Location: Jurong West
Working Hours: 5 days (Mon-Fri: 8.30am-5pm)
Salary Package: Basic $3000 - $4000
Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage inventory
Maintain updated and accurate inventory records including stock transfers and cycle counts
Monitor monthly safety stock levels to meet order requirements
Lead the annual stock take exercise
Ensure the sales team uses the correct item codes
Review and investigate product and quantity discrepancies between physical stock and system records
Analyse product sales stock turnover rate and inventory levels
Prepare generate and file inventory reports to ensure inventory accuracy
Propose and implement improvements to operational procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Handle purchase orders and payment processes and work with the finance team on any payment issues
Liaise with forwarders and courier services to plan shipping schedules to fulfil orders
Perform other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by Superiors

Minimum Diploma / Degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management or a related discipline
At least 5 years of relevant working experience
Meticulous highly organised and positive attitude
Good analytical and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is an advantage
