  • Remuneration: From $123k-143k 17% Superannuation& leave loading

About the People & Culture Business Partnering (P&C BP) Team: Delivering both operational and strategic services the P&C BP Teammanage people matters with confidence care and consistency. Partnering with their people leaders to achieve their people strategy and further meaningful work we do at UNSW as a leader in teaching and research.

  • Providing trusted people-focused advice and guidance to managers and employees in your client group
  • Proactively partnering with clients to provide effective P&C solutions no two days are the same.
  • Offer employee lifecycle guidance from performance management to line management.
  • Implementing P&C policies and procedures and improvements as an expert in your field.
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of HR legislation and practices.
  • Providing effective P&C workforce reporting and analysisfor informed decision making.
  • Supporting and mentoring our Advisors and Officers

This role works alongside the P&C People Hub as well as dedicated Medicine & Health People Partners and Advisors.
Reporting into the Senior People Partner for the faculty youll join a close-knit team furthering your career in a supportive environment which focuses on learning progression and excellence.

Who You Are:Werelooking for a strong HRprofessionalwithexperienceacrossa similar role in a complex and client- centredenvironment; astrategically mindedConsultant looking for their next partnering role.
As a confident communicator youll hold excellent stakeholder management skills with a strong client focus alongside the following skills and experience:

  • Strong working knowledge of HR policies procedures and enterprise agreements with demonstrated experience in applying these to resolve complex people matters.
  • Proven ability to manage employee relations and casework with professionalism discretion and sound judgement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated capability to deliver timely practical HR advice in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting more junior P&C staff contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Ability to interpret and apply people data and insights to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • A proactive solutions-focused mindset with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and contexts.
