Roles and Responsibilities
Preparation and processing of the cross-business schedules for the GEHC 300 company codes to ensure complete and accurate recording of the transactions like ownership changes acquisitions dispositions liquidations etc. and the related consolidation entries in compliance with US GAAP GEHC GAP and SOX 404 control requirements.
Responsible for the preparation and reporting of equity securities/equity method investments and its disclosure requirements. Consolidate analyze and report financials in compliance with reporting regulations.
Support Global GEHC closing through the process of edit checks and leading quarterly close calls.
Cooperate with the Healthcare business controllership teams Technical Accounting team the Treasury team the Tax team and other Process CoEs as part of the Global closing and consolidation processes.
A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.
Impacts projects processes and procedures in own field. Drive continued transformation & simplification of the processes. The role operates with some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities/provision of advice within an enabling discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Activities require professional judgment but may require more senior levels of guidance.
Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems. Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
Education Qualification
Bachelors degree in engineering with minimum 5 years of experience in relevant technologies Finance & Financial Reporting/Accounting.
Desired Characteristics
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Established project management skills.
Experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.:Hyperion FCCS ARCS OAS etc.) strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables VLookup).
Accepting and adhering to high moral ethical and personal values in decisions communications actions and when dealing with others.
A team player collaborates effectively with others communicates openly and supports their colleagues to achieve common goals.
