About the role
The COE (Centre of Expertise) Data Lead at Woodside is responsible for providing
strategic direction and vision for the organizations data initiatives within the COE. This
role involves managing the budget and cost tracking for the COE Data Team staying
informed about the latest trends in data engineering and tools and leading a team of
Data professionals to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead the COE Data team to provide strategic direction and vision for data
initiatives.
Manage the budget and cost tracking for the COE Data Team to ensure efficient
resource allocation.
Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in data engineering
techniques and tools.
Lead and mentor a team of Data professionals ensuring high-quality
deliverables that align with business requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders including DSC Data Science Lead
DSC BI Lead Business Partners and engagement team to enhance value
creation within the broader Digital team.
Drive the adoption of data engineering best practices and standards across the
COE Data Team.
Ensure compliance with data governance policies security standards and
regulatory requirements.
